I love the speed comment. He's starting to get some of that Jordan swagger. Extreme confidence in his ability, but Rose is still the most humble superstar on the rise I've ever seen.

In recent years, it's been hard for my family to get together and have a nice dinner with every member of my family in attendance. My oldest brother works odd hours, my younger brother is off to school, and I work and live downtown - so only on rare occasions do we all sit down and enjoy a meal together as a family.

When the time comes that we actually can get together, we share stories of how things have been in our lives, reminisce about the past, and enjoy each others company.

But this great time feels less natural when my dad stops and says, "It's great that we can get together like this, this never happens anymore."

We all stop and pause in our heads, and you can almost feel a wave of guilt come over the table. We all know that its an enjoyable time having dinner together, and we all know that we should try and make dinners like these happen more often, but somehow hearing my dads' sentiment cheapens the moment. It didn't need to be said. This good time now feels less genuine.

This is exactly how I feel every time D-Rose makes a layup and everyone talks about how humble he is.

He is humble, I get it. It doesn't need to be said.

This good time now feels less genuine.
