Bulls win

Fun game to watch yesterday, mostly because I was hammered.  I strongly encourage you to try out the Michelob Wheat Beer Sampler Pack - absolutely delicous.

The BG Microcosm -

In many ways, Ben Gordon's game Saturday served as a microcosm of the Bulls' season.

Ineffective and occasionally unwatchable for three quarters, Gordon made big plays down the stretch as the Bulls closed strong for a 103-94 victory over the New Jersey Nets at theUnited Center.

Coupled with Detroit's loss in Philadelphia, the Bulls moved a half-game ahead of the Pistons for seventh place in the Eastern Conference playoff race.

Sloppy, but a win -

The Bulls defeated the New Jersey Nets 103-94 at the United Center, but only after letting a 16-point lead disappear.

''It was a sloppy game,'' Derrick Rose said. ''We just wanted to play hard and make sure this one didn't slip away like some of the other ones have.''

The Bulls (37-40) moved into seventh by a half-game over Detroit after the Pistons lost 95-90 at Philadelphia. The Bulls lead ninth-place Charlotte by 2½ games.
